The October Girl: Book One
The October Girl: Book One
The October Girl: Book One follows Autumn Ackerman, who grew up believing in fairies, magic, and princesses who defeated dragons. Now eighteen, with a future that seems confined behind the counter of her small townβs coffee shop, she begins to wonder if this is all there is to her life.
But everything changes one night when she encounters her childhood imaginary friend, Barnaby, in the alley behind the coffee shop. Autumnβs whole world is turned upside down.
She is drawn into the strange and mysterious world of the Night Folk, fantastic creatures that inspired all of humanityβs myths about gods and monsters. Autumn is about to discover her world is much more than she ever dreamed as a little girl and far more dangerous than she could ever have imagined.
With Barnaby's help and the guidance of Evan Fade, the tragic young man who inherited the local bookstore, Autumn must protect herself from the coldly terrifying Mr. Balloon. She has to uncover the truth about the Night Folk and her own past before it's too late.
