About the Author

Holly Bradley (Author) Dr Holly Bradley is both a writer and a conservation biologist, who focused her PhD research on better understanding the ecology of the Meelyu. Darryl Fogarty (Author) Darryl Fogarty is a Badimia Elder. His family totem lizard is the Meelyu, and they must always look after the Meelyu. Corinne Fogarty (Illustrator) Corinne Fogarty is a Badimia Yamitji woman who grew up spending time exploring Badimia barna. She has found it so rewarding building a relationship with her totem, the Meelyu, through supporting her dad, Darryl, with his storytelling.
