About the Author
Alison McLennan is an Australian children’s author, professional voiceover artist, actor and mother of two. She is a member of SCBWI and Writelinks, and a proud ambassador of Australia Reads. She is the author of several picture books, including How to Get Rid of a Princess, Hotel For Bees, Growing Pains, Great and Small and Birdie Lights Up the World.
Mel Pearce is an award-winning artist from Western Australia. Her first picture book, No! Never!, won the Children’s Book Council of Australia Award for Book of the Year for Early Childhood. She loves to scribble with inks and pencils, and will almost always be found with at least one or two sketchbooks in her bag, just in case. Mel lives north of the river in Perth with her dingo-dog.
