The World According to Xi
China is now the most powerful country on earth. Its manufacturing underpins the world's economy; its military is growing at the fastest rate of any nation, and its leader, Xi Jinping, is set to dictate the pace and tone of world affairs for decades to come.
In 2017, Xi Jinping became part of the constitution—an honour not seen since Chairman Mao. In The World According to Xi, China expert Kerry Brown guides us through Xi's vision for the future: his aims to establish China as the most powerful nation on earth and his strategies to eradicate poverty for Chinese citizens.
This captivating book delves into Xi's beliefs, his approach to communism, and the lengths he is prepared to go to in order to defend it.
