About the Author
ROB SUISTED has a BSc in zoology and conservation management, and worked as the national marine mammal advisor at the Department of Conservation for over a decade. His passion for photography however, took him out of conservation management and into professional photography. His stock photo image library Nature’s Pic Images was one of the first photographic stock libraries to go online in New Zealand and contains over 60,000 high quality images, supplying images to a wide range of clients both nationally and internationally. Rob also regularly travels to the Antarctic and/or Arctic as a expedition lecturer, guide and photographer. He lives with his family in Wellington.
