A short story about the critically endangered Kroombit Tinkerfrog, there are fewer than 150 in the wild, in a handful of narrow rainforest gullies within Kroombit Tops National Park, south west of Gladstone in central Queensland.Mikey and the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary conservation team have been working to help save the Krombit tinker frog from extinction. These little frogs have become critically endangered and needed some help to thrive again. The Tinker frog recovery team does frog searches and monitoring of frogs by their calls TINK,TINK,TINK, as well as preventative work like bushfire prevention, weed control, & installing fences for pest control which otherwise would damage fragile frog habitat and spread disease.Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has a specially designed frog conservation lab to help save Tinker frogs from extinction. The Frog Lab is as close to their wild conditions as possible and the team had great success in helping them!

About the Author

Sarah has been a koala specialist at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in southeast Queensland for nearly 20 years. She is passionate about the plight of our wild koalas. This is her first book. Sarah Eccleston has been a koala specialist at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary in southeast Queensland for nearly 20 years. She is passionate about the plight of our wild koalas. This is her first book. Jenni Goodman is the illustrator who uses watercolors, colored pencils, and graphite to create soft and sweet artworks that capture simple beauty in a semi-realistic style. She also like to create digital art focusing on amusing characters and fun scenes. As a child, Jenni scribbled and sketched and colored in to her little heart's content. Now, as an adult, she scribbles and sketches and colors in with perhaps a little more skill, but no less passion. Creating with pencils and paints is still one of her life's greatest delights.
