About the Author

Kaliah is based in Adelaide and has worked in Aboriginal affairs and community radio for the past eight years. She has always had a good sense of the absurd and finds joy in storytelling and writing in verse. She loves writing songs, working on her guitar skills and finding new ways to make her kids laugh! Kaliah's first book Molly Moores Has a House Like Yours was also published by LIttle Book Press.

Lisa lives in Canowindra, Central West NSW, Wirajduri Country. Her days are spent sketching, illustrating and as a professional violinist teaching, performing and touring with Acacia Quartet.Lisa is an established illustrator with numerous books published through Scholastic Press, Penguin Random House, Hachette and HarperCollins. Lisa was shortlisted for the Crichton Award.Lisa studied fine arts at the National Art School and has enjoyed residencies at Arthur Boyd's Bundanon.Lisa's illustrations have been exhibited at Dromkeen, featured on ABC TV's Play School and the Sydney Opera House.
