Roy Lichtenstein's ABC begins with A for ART (of course), represented by Lichtenstein's first pop comic masterpiece, Look Mickey. D stands for a comically vicious growling Dog, while H features a horse that races by in dizzying dots and stripes.

He masterfully fused comic-book techniques with high art in his appropriations of such artists as Picasso and Mondrian.
