Driven by this vision, the Fondation Cartier soon started building up a Collection of works from the exhibitions which were presented in France and abroad.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eA reflection of the Fondation Cartier's history, this Collection stands out for its diversity and eclecticism, bringing together close to 4,000 pieces by more than 500 photographers, painters, sculptors, designers, movie directors, and architects from all over the world.
