Midoriya inherits the superpower of the world’s greatest hero, but greatness won’t come easy.

What would the world be like if 80 percent of the population manifested superpowers called “Quirks”? Heroes and villains would be battling it out everywhere! Being a hero would mean learning to use your power, but where would you go to study? The Hero Academy of course! But what would you do if you were one of the 20 percent who were born Quirkless?

My Hero Academia, Vol. 6, takes readers deeper into the lives of the aspiring heroes of Class 1-A, as they navigate the challenging world of heroism and villainy. The aftermath of the U.A. Sports Festival has set the stage for these young heroes-in-training to embark on their internships, where they will hone their skills under the guidance of professional heroes.

Midoriya finds himself under the mentorship of Gran Torino, who was once the mentor to All Might himself. Initially appearing to be a washed-up old man, Gran Torino quickly proves that he still possesses incredible agility and combat skills. Midoriya has a lot to learn from him about harnessing his borrowed Quirk, One For All.

As Midoriya struggles to master his newfound abilities, the League of Villains is not idle. They enact a sinister plot, bringing forth a terrifying enemy that threatens to disrupt the peace and safety of society. The stakes are higher than ever, and the young heroes must band together to face these mounting threats.

My Hero Academia, Vol. 6, is a thrilling installment in Kohei Horikoshi’s beloved series, combining high-stakes action with heartfelt character development. Fans of the series will be captivated by the intense training scenes, surprising plot twists, and the ever-present theme of what it truly means to be a hero.

This volume offers a deeper understanding of the dynamics between the characters and sets the stage for even more dramatic confrontations. Whether you are a long-time fan or new to the series, My Hero Academia, Vol. 6, is a must-read for anyone who enjoys a blend of action, emotion, and heroism.
