I had a very vibrant and supportive upbringing in a family of ten. I first started writing screenplays as a teenager and then transitioned to writing books, loving the boundary-free landscape of prose. I’ve been a filmmaker, nanny, private tutor, sports coach, and GirlGuides leader. The children and teens I work with have been a huge inspiration for my stories. Their overwhelming love and support for my work gave me the courage to submit to publishers. I’ve recently completed a Bachelor of Education and now teach English at Auckland Girls’ Grammar School. I’m excited to share my passion for writing and storytelling with the students there.
